Temple Opening for Summers season 2018

The Temple will be open to the public on Sunday afternoons and bank holidays from 2 pm to 5 pm  from  Spring Bank Holiday Monday 28 May 2018 to Heritage Open Day Sunday 16  Sep 2018.  Entrance fee is £2 per head.

Season Tickets

 People who wish to visit frequently may obtain a season ticket costing £5 per head or £8 per family to visit as often as they like during this period.  To obtain a season ticket please apply to the Hon Treasurer Mrs Anne Stoye by e mail here.

Planned Events at the Temple for your diary

Tbd       2018     -  Tipple at the Temple with drinks   6.30 to 9 pm.

16 Sep 2018     -  Heritage Open Day. Temple will be open free of charge, with cream teas and guided  tour of Mill Wood  2 to 5 pm

 Tbd      2018     -  Sausage Sizzler Barbq with drinks   5.30 to 8 pm.

Individual  and Group Visits.

Hire of the Temple for private Events and Weddings etc

These can be arranged  if the Temple has not been booked and it is agreed that it is a suitable venue.  Please bear in mind that there are no utilities at the Temple, there is limited parking and that only limited numbers can be invited.  All catering and other arrangements have to be made by the applicant.  Please discuss with our Chairman Tessa Howard by sending her an e mail well in advance.

Please Note:

Much of the Great park and House is now a works site and in these areas public access is still not possible except with specific per mission from the owner.  However restoration is now well advanced and this year,  for the first time,  the House and gardens will be open for guided tours on 8 days starting 7 May 2018 using the Invitation to View Scheme.  You can apply for an invitation and make a booking on this website
